Mary
Elizabeth Lynch, M.A., J.D.
Mary Elizabeth Lynch is an attorney, certified mediator and trainer, and
conflict transformation specialist. She works with individuals and groups
to assist them in transforming unproductive mental and emotional patterns
into healthy and creative life choices. She is on the faculty of Atlantic
University and she is co-founder of the Center for Leadership Through
Peacebuilding.
Amy Betit, M.A.
Amy Betit specializes in working with the creative processes in life
transformation. She works with people to further their emotional, mental
and spiritual well being. Amy is on the Atlantic University faculty
where she teaches "Creating a Meaningful Life," "Creativity
and the Healing Process," and "Introduction to Leadership
Through Peacebuilding." In collaboration with Mary Elizabeth Lynch
and Tom Curley, Amy is developing a Leadership Through Peacebuilding
academic curriculum. She is co-founder of the Center for Leadership
Through Peacebuilding.
Tom Curley, Ph.D.
Tom Curley is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Education at Le Moyne
College in Syracuse, NY. He is currently a faculty member at Atlantic
University, where he teaches a course in Holistic Education, and collaborates
with Amy Betit and Mary Elizabeth Lynch on the development of the Leadership
Through Peacebuilding curriculum. His background in education includes
graduate courses in Alternatives in Education, Philosophy for Children,
and Contemporary Perspectives on Education. His educational style encourages
student interaction as essential to the learning process.
